Alternate Universe Girlfriend: Interlude - The Wedding Ceremony

This is an alternative version of New Girlfriend with Ray Gun (think of it as a tribute to the creation by Steamrolled). Make sure you read her new series as well as the original Crazy Girlfriend with Remote series.

So here we are at the big day, the wedding ceremony for Eve (the Groom) and Elliot (the Bride). Note: the pregnant bride!

I had so much fun working on "Opposites Attract" and the end result was rather good (in my opinion) that I wanted to continue in this format. It also gave me the confidence to tackle a larger job I wanted to see from when I first started to read Steamrolled "Crazy Girlfriend" series.

I remember posting the following in the comments to Steamrolled CGFwR16

"Scenes I would like to see in further instalments
1. [Elliot] discovering he is pregnant with Eve's child.
2. Eve trying to work out how she can propose to [Elliot].
3. [Elliot] in a wedding dress."

At the time I never thought I would be creating these situations myself. With this Interlude, I've now fulfilled all three of the scenarios. Of course, it's only been possible due to Steamrolled, thanks to her wonderful art and original story ideas.

In creating "I Do", I've had to make a large number of edits and adjustments to the original art, more than I've ever done before. For Elliot I adjusted his pigtails to a larger ponytail (this was easier said than done), added a white hair band (to match the dress), changed his mouth to a smile, adjusted his eyes to look at Eve's eyes. The dress was a major change going further down the path I took in Opposites Attract. I raised the neckline further and then made it into a collar with an inverted heart cut-out, to finish it off I added a brooch to the collar. The nipple bumps were toned down a bit but otherwise the breasts were untouched. The hemline was lowered even more and I had to extend the legs. The left arm I had to create almost from scratch since it doesn't exist in the original. To make things easier, I had Elliot's left arm go behind his back, that way I didn't need to show the hand or forearm.

With Eve, I thought of a way to put her into a jacket and a pair of trousers fitting for a groom. Mind, most grooms don't support that kind of cleavage but she certainly came out looking sexy as heck. Heh, her jacket must have some strong clasps to keep it closed considered how much pressure there must be to pop it open. The jacket needed the most changes as I needed to remove the original sash and adjust the lower edges, the trousers were just a case of changing skin colour to represent black material. Her hand originally held the Raygun but I had previously worked on that for an earlier episode, now she holds the wedding ring. Other than that, I only had to adjust the eyes so she would look at Elliot.

In both cases I had to adjust the colour of the clothing to the traditional black and white for groom and bride, adjusting the shading to try and match the surrounding colour where appropriate. I found a suitable background, a wedding marquee, and that was mostly that.

Elliot's left arm gave me the most trouble, his shoulder slopes down too much for example. This area is the worse in the picture since I didn't have anything to work with, I'm not very good creating new art as such but it is what it is! The ponytail took some time as well as I wanted to give it more body than a single pigtail. Finally, it would have been nice to make Elliot's wedding dress have lots of frills and / or lace but I had to stop somewhere

Story Background
We finally come to Eve's and Elliot's big day, their wedding!

Initially, Eve suggested that the day of the wedding should be the same as Elliot's 25th birthday but it turned out it had to be pushed back a couple of weeks to the 15th of November. The ceremony itself was held in a large marquee instead of a church, despite the lateness of the year the weather help up and it was a cool and bright day.

The wedding ring held by Eve is one of a pair made from while gold. Elliot will wear it alongside his engagement ring on his fourth finger of his left hand, Eve will wear the matching ring.
