For those of you new to Alternate Universe Girlfriend, meet Elliot (male) and Eve. As you might notice, Elliot doesn't exactly look male anymore, Eve does look female but she's not exactly entirely female herself. As for why they look the way they do, you'll need to read Steamrolled Crazy Girlfriend with Remote and the New Girlfriend with Ray Gun series. The main point is that while Elliot looks and acts female, he and everyone else considers him to be a normal male.

Alternate Universe Girlfriend is a spin-off creation offering a diverging version of New Girlfriend with Ray Gun / Crazy Girlfriend with Remote (think of it as a tribute to the creation by Steamrolled).

Story Background
In this episode, the storyline concerning Rayguns and Remotes diverges from the original story (the one created by Steamrolled). As you can see, the Raygun doesn't function when Eve tries it, the reasons should unfold over the Alternate Universe story arc. There have been some clues so maybe you can guess the reasons.

Sept 4th. Eve and Elliot meet for the first time. Both of them broke up with their respective boyfriend / girlfriend while at the cinema and happenstance arranged for them to meet and get to know each other. One thing led to another and they end up spending the night together playing video games and having sex, lots of sex it appears.

Sept 5th. The morning after the night before. It seems neither Eve or Elliot regret their actions of the last day, they're both glad they broke up with their previous partners and discovered they enjoy each others company, more than just for the sex. Elliot doesn't quite have the confidence in himself to ask Eve directly how she feels about him but he clearly doesn't want their time together to end. Eve on the other hand has pretty made up her mind and has simply assumed her new romantic interest is going to stay with her. In some ways, it surprises Eve that she needs to ask Elliot but she begins to realise that she'll have to take the lead and all but tell him to move in with her.

Story Continuity
Please note that the story now goes back to when Eve and Elliot first met. This episode takes place before Improved Productivity Parts 1 and 2 so I've therefore named it Part 0.2. Eve and Elliot met on Sept 4th, Part 0.2 takes place on the following day, on Sept 5th. Next week, I'll release part 0.6 which takes place shortly after this episode, on Sept 7th.

I've also added "thought bubbles" to the artwork, hope it's obvious as to who is thinking these thoughts. Thought bubbles will be colour coded (to the character's hair colour) and they'll appear in rectangular boxes with rounded corners, please be aware of the differences between these and regular speech bubbles which sometimes also contain colour coded text.
