Alternate Universe Girlfriend: Interlude

This is an alternative version of New Girlfriend with Ray Gun (think of it as a tribute to the creation by Steamrolled). Make sure you read her new series as well as the original Crazy Girlfriend with Remote series.

Consider this as a potential "things to come" teaser, a taste of a work in progress. I've been working on an idea for episode 6 of Alternate Universe and I thought I would post a variant of one of the panels I had in mind. The actual version will use different coloured dresses but I liked the black and white variant posted above so I thought an "Opposites Attract" topic worked well with the dress colours, the personality differences between Eve and Elliot, and with the transgender theme.

Let's hope the coloured hearts and name tags give you enough of a clue to work out what they mean, this is a transgender series after all I was thinking of adding a third coloured heart (Female-Female this time) at about breast height but decided it wasn't really necessary.

As a question to those who are paying attention, how many changes can you spot compared to the original?  The two main differences are of course the colour changes to the clothes worn by Eve and Elliot but there are at least five other graphic changes compared to the original artwork of CGF-16.

Story Background
This scene takes place in-between parts 2 and 3, Eve and Elliot are about to visit Elliot's parents to break the news that they plan to marry. Elliot's main worry is how he imagines the conversation will go.

"Oh, by the way Mom & Dad, I'm pregnant! And it was unplanned."
"But we love each other and we're getting married.... even if we only met for the first time a month ago."

No wonder Elliot is looking somewhat apprehensive. As usual, Eve is willing to take the lead and beard the lions in their den, and she isn't particularly fazed by the prospect. She even wants to formally ask Elliot's father for his hand in marriage.

"Dad, may I call you Dad?"
"I love your son more than anyone in the world, I would like your blessing to marry him and make him my bride."
"Oh, by the way, he's already said yes!"

Somehow, Elliot doesn't think she's taking this all too seriously. All the same, he knows that whatever happens Eve loves him and will marry him, and that's what matters.
